Leading diagnostic imaging provider replaces legacy systems with a unified platform to support five-year growth strategy.
SYDNEY, Australia – July 30, 2026 – Workday, Inc. (NASDAQ: WDAY), a leading enterprise AI platform for HR, finance, and IT, today announced that Lumus Imaging has selected Workday Financial Management to unify its national finance operations. This transition will support Lumus Imaging’s ambitious growth strategy by providing the visibility needed to optimise workflows and enhance the organisation’s forecasting capabilities.
Lumus Imaging operates 150 facilities and employs approximately 2,200 people across Australia. The organisation established an ambitious five-year growth strategy and recognised the need for a more agile and scalable financial platform to support its next phase of expansion.
The Workday deployment, which went live May 2026, is already providing Lumus with greater operational visibility and financial control by centralising core finance processes and enabling stronger site-level accountability across the business.
With Workday, Lumus Imaging is able to:
- Improve Financial Visibility: Real-time reporting capabilities and a flexible organisational structure to support growth and operational decision-making.
- Optimise Procurement: Streamlined supplier management processes and more efficient capital expenditure management.
- Increase Operational Efficiency: Greater efficiency across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and core financial processes through automation and simplified workflows.
- Strengthen Planning and Forecasting: More accurate budgeting and forecasting with greater visibility and accountability at an individual site level.
In just a few short weeks, Lumus Imaging facility managers report that Workday Inventory Management has already proven to be a powerful operational asset. It has effectively transformed what was once a manual process into a system that gives clear visibility into the stock being used, what needs to be replenished, and any wastage, leading to significant cost savings.
"As we execute our growth strategy, we need a digital foundation that is as agile as our business," said Neil Burley, CFO at Lumus Imaging. "Workday provides a single source of truth for our finance operations, helping us automate complex processes, improve visibility across the organisation, and make more informed decisions as we continue to grow."
Jo-Anne Ruhl, Vice President and Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand, Workday, said organisations are increasingly looking for modern platforms that can support both operational excellence and long-term growth. "Growth becomes much harder when organisations are relying on fragmented systems and disconnected data. By bringing finance onto a single platform, Lumus Imaging is creating a stronger foundation for visibility, accountability and informed decision-making across the business. That not only supports growth today, but positions the organisation to adapt and scale as its needs evolve."
